We ran a 6 hour trip and the vermilion snapper bite was as good as it gets. As soon as we got set up, it was nonstop action. Lines going down and fish coming up one after another.
At one point they were flying everywhere around the boat. Multiple fish on at the same time and nobody standing around waiting. This is the kind of trip that keeps everyone busy and smiling the whole time.
We boxed out on vermilion snapper and added in a few bonus fish to round it out. Great group, calm conditions, and steady catching from start to finish.

Great 6 hour trip with a mom and her two boys. Awesome group and they stayed busy the whole time.
We ended up with a full limit of vermilion snapper, a couple triggerfish, and some really nice grouper. They also hooked into some very large red snapper and gag grouper, which made for a fun fight and added to the action.
Trips like this are what a 6 hour is all about. Steady action, good variety, and plenty of fish for the table.

Another solid 8 hour deep sea fishing trip in the books aboard the New Beginning.
The vermillion snapper bite was on fire, with some of the bigger beeliners we’ve seen lately hitting the deck. We stayed busy all day with steady action, and the box filled up quick.
We also had plenty of grouper action mixed in, along with some big sow red snapper coming up that had to go back down. Always a good sign when you’re seeing that kind of fish on the spots.
And just to top it off, we pulled up another big octopus, which made for a pretty cool surprise and a good laugh for the group.
Conditions couldn’t have been much better. Calm seas, good drift, and a great group of guys that kept the rods bent all day.
Trips like this are what bottom fishing in Panama City Beach is all about. Plenty of action, good variety, and fish in the box for dinner.

This group joined us for a 6 hour Panama City Beach snapper fishing charter, and it turned into a great day on the water in the Gulf of Mexico. The weather cooperated and the fishing stayed steady throughout the trip.
The crew spent the day working some productive offshore structure and quickly started putting together a great catch of vermilion snapper, also known as beeliners. These fish are some of the best eating fish in the Gulf and always make for an excellent dinner after a successful day offshore.
Along with the vermilion snapper, the group also landed a nice red grouper along with a few other reef species that kept the rods bent and the action steady throughout the trip. Trips like this are exactly what makes Panama City Beach fishing charters such a great experience for anglers of all skill levels.
By the end of the trip the crew had a great box of fresh fish, plenty of smiles, and a dockside photo to remember the day. It was a pleasure having this group out with us, and we truly enjoyed spending the day fishing with them aboard the New Beginning.
