The weather cooperated and the fishing stayed steady throughout the trip. The crew spent the day working some productive offshore structure and quickly started putting together a great catch of vermilion snapper, also known as beeliners. These fish are some of the best eating fish in the Gulf and always make for an excellent dinner after a successful day offshore. Along with the vermilion snapper, the group also landed a nice red grouper along with a few other reef species that kept the rods bent and the action steady throughout the trip.
