Panama City Beach Fishing Charter – Birthday Trip Offshore Had a good trip today. Mom brought her son out for his birthday and he brought one of his buddies along with him. Weather was nice and the fish were biting, so it worked out perfect for them. We started off bottom fishing and pretty quickly got into some action. Ended up catching some solid fish—big amberjack and a nice grouper, along with a few red snapper mixed in. In between that, we stayed on the smaller stuff to fill the box. Caught a good mess of vermilion snapper and some triggerfish, so they’re going home with plenty of fish to eat. It was one of those trips where the rods stayed bent enough to keep everybody interested the whole time. The boys had a good time and that’s what it’s all about, especially on a birthday trip like that. Our Panama City Beach bottom fishing charter headed offshore into the Gulf of Mexico this week to fish productive reef structure in 100 to 200 feet of water. These reefs hold a wide variety of fish, and when conditions are right the action can be steady throughout the trip. After arriving at the fishing grounds, it didn’t take long before the rods started bending. Fishing with fresh cut bonito and Boston mackerel, our anglers began bringing up quality fish from the bottom. The group landed several nice red snapper along with some solid triggerfish. These species are two of the most popular fish caught on a Panama City Beach bottom fishing charter because they fight hard and make excellent table fare. Fresh cut bait is one of the keys to successful reef fishing. On many of our trips we use bonito (little tunny) and Boston mackerel as bait while fishing the reefs. Captain Brandon was awesome! He knew exactly where to take us and we caught a ton of fish! And had so much fun at each location. Deck hand Blake was great as well! They were both super friendly and great with my kiddos. Boat is super clean, the AC cabin is a god-send. We had a great time catching vermilion snappers, trigger fish, and amber jacks. The 6 hour trip was perfect for the kids and us. We will definitely be using him again anytime we’re down here!

What are fun trip with Legendary New Beginnings!!! Captain Brandon put us on the fish and First Mate Blake worked his butt off all day to keep the fish rolling in! We had 4 boys with us and FM Blake kept it fun and included the boys in all the things! Captain Brandon kept us on the fish to make sure we caught our limits and kept on rolling! When we were moving FM Brandon was rigging for the next stop and cleaning the whole time! We recommend them 10/10!!

It was a real good trip. The captain and first mate put us on the fish and stayed until the bite slowed. In between fishing spots, we cooled off in the A/C cabin.The First mate was there giving us tips, and helping to keep us baited up and fishing, and helped to unhook the fish. We all liked this outfit a lot and intend to do a repeat soon.
