Panama City Beach Fishing Charter – Birthday Trip Offshore Had a good trip today. Mom brought her son out for his birthday and he brought one of his buddies along with him. Weather was nice and the fish were biting, so it worked out perfect for them. We started off bottom fishing and pretty quickly got into some action. Ended up catching some solid fish—big amberjack and a nice grouper, along with a few red snapper mixed in. In between that, we stayed on the smaller stuff to fill the box. Caught a good mess of vermilion snapper and some triggerfish, so they’re going home with plenty of fish to eat. It was one of those trips where the rods stayed bent enough to keep everybody interested the whole time. The boys had a good time and that’s what it’s all about, especially on a birthday trip like that.
