The weather laid down nice for us and the fishing showed out. We put together a full limit of vermilion snapper and topped it off with a limit of triggerfish. On top of that, we added 5 quality red grouper to the box.
We also had some really good action on big red snapper throughout the day. Most of them were those big sow snapper, so they all went back, along with a few gag grouper that didn’t make the cut. Still, it kept the rods bent and made for a fun trip the whole time.

We had a really solid 6 hour fishing trip in Panama City Beach with this group.
They had fished with a few other captains before and told us this was their best trip yet. That’s always what we aim for — not just catching fish, but making sure everyone has a good time on the boat.
Conditions were about as good as it gets. Calm seas, hot sun, and perfect spring weather.
The fishing showed up too.
We caught a pile of red snapper, along with triggerfish and vermilion snapper for the cooler. Then we had something you don’t see every day — a big octopus caught on hook and line. That was definitely the highlight and made for a great picture.

This group joined us for a 6 hour Panama City Beach snapper fishing charter, and it turned into a great day on the water in the Gulf of Mexico. The weather cooperated and the fishing stayed steady throughout the trip.
The crew spent the day working some productive offshore structure and quickly started putting together a great catch of vermilion snapper, also known as beeliners. These fish are some of the best eating fish in the Gulf and always make for an excellent dinner after a successful day offshore.
Along with the vermilion snapper, the group also landed a nice red grouper along with a few other reef species that kept the rods bent and the action steady throughout the trip.
