Here’s the final day of Amberjack season for 2025. This trip was a 6hour half day fishing charter that was very successful.
Amberjack season wasn’t as long as planned but it was fun while it lasted. The Amberjack bite was very good this entire year with no shortage of action on any trip length for them. Greater Amberjack Closure
Greater Amberjack will be closing September 27, 2025. It will reopen sometime in 2026. We can still catch these large hard fighting fish, but it will be catch and release.

10hour/14hour Trips
Here was the closing finally for the 14 day every fish open season. We finished with a couple action packed 10hour trips and a red hot 14hour trip. Both groups had lots of chances at big fish. While some fish get away they both managed a very nice box of large reef fish. We had a lot of fun and are hoping they do this again next season!

Big fish fishing
Here’s another great fishing aboard the New Beginning! The fish bite is great and the fish have been large. We are having a lot of fun out there in the Gulf catching all kinds of reef fish.

Deep Sea fishing
The fishing is red hot right now on the new beginning. We are catching some really nice quality size fish! Now is the time to go while we have fish in season to catch.

September 1st fishing
Another great fishing trip on the New Beginning. We big fished all day and successfully caught Amberjack’s, big Red Snappers, and nice gag groupers. We caught a lot of fish on this trip and broke off some even bigger ones. The fishing is fantastic out there!

Snappers and Triggerfish
The fishing is still holding strong for the New Beginning! We are still catching plenty of Snappers and seeing some nice size Trigger in the mix. We have no complaints on fishing at all.

From September 1, 2025 – September 14, 2025 all reef fish species will be open! This will be an incredible time to make a fishing trip to Panama City Beach. We are very excited for the upcoming 2 week season.
The specific species open in our region to target will include :
(Gag Grouper) : 09-01-2025 – 09-14-2025
(Red Snapper) : 06-01-2025 – 09-14-2025
(Greater Amberjack) : 09-01-2025 – TBA
(Red Grouper) : Open Year Round
(Grey Triggerfish) : 08-01-2025 – 12-31-2025
(Vermillion Snapper) : Open Year Round
Trip length will play a huge role in how many species we can Target. This is a great time to book the 12-14hour all day fishing trip if you want to target all the species available to the region! 
6hour Fishing
Another excellent morning of fishing on this 6hour trip. The fishing was outstanding! We couldn’t have asked for better weather or sea conditions. Just an absolute perfect day on the water.
