Another great fishing trip on the New Beginning. We big fished all day and successfully caught Amberjack’s, big Red Snappers, and nice gag groupers. We caught a lot of fish on this trip and broke off some even bigger ones. The fishing is fantastic out there!

From September 1, 2025 – September 14, 2025 all reef fish species will be open! This will be an incredible time to make a fishing trip to Panama City Beach. We are very excited for the upcoming 2 week season.
The specific species open in our region to target will include :

(Red Snapper) : 06-01-2025 – 09-14-2025
(Greater Amberjack) : 09-01-2025 – TBA
(Red Grouper) : Open Year Round
(Grey Triggerfish) : 08-01-2025 – 12-31-2025
(Vermillion Snapper) : Open Year Round
Trip length will play a huge role in how many species we can Target. This is a great time to book the 12-14hour all day fishing trip if you want to target all the species available to the region!
Another excellent morning of fishing on this 6hour trip. The fishing was outstanding! We couldn’t have asked for better weather or sea conditions. Just an absolute perfect day on the water.

The American Red Snappers are still fired up and ready to eat your bait! We have been doing very well catching snappers and also seeing a few triggerfish in the mix. Red Snapper will be open this entire month. We have plenty of fish to target and catch.

The King Mackerel bite has been pretty good lately. Aside from bottom fishing, we get out and do a little trolling from time to time. The King Mackerel are hard fighting fish with vicious teeth. They are built for speed and power. Mackerel are really fun with light tackle and a screaming drag.

Grey Triggerfish have now opened for harvest on August 1st. These delicious fish are overlapping with the American Red Snapper season. Adding another fish to the hit list makes the adventure that much more fun.
