Gag grouper season is coming to an end, and there are only a few days left to get in on it. Gag grouper closes at the end of September, and we only have a couple of open days left this month for anyone wanting one last shot at putting some big gags on the deck aboard New Beginning. Right now is one of the best times of the year to go offshore because everything is open. Grouper, snapper, amberjack, triggerfish and the rest of our local reef fish are all in season. Once October 1st gets here, gag grouper will be the only reef fish closing.
