You never know what you might catch when you go deep sea fishing. On this trip we managed to catch some nice Red Snapper and Vermillion Snapper. We also caught our boat limit of Cobia! We don’t get much Cobia action in the panhandle, but when we do it’s always a blessing. The offshore fishing is still holding strong. July is almost over and I only have 2 afternoons available. We are catching some very nice fish, and getting bonus fish on the trolling lures. Fishing is still going great aboard the New Beginning. Red Snapper season will go until late August for the federal boats such as myself. The longer the trip the better the success. we are still having a great time on the short trips, but all day trips will always prevail. I do not have alot of availability left for July. Fish, fish, and more fish. That’s what’s happening over here on the New Beginning. The Red Snappers are still biting very good. We have been getting some great bonus fish as well such as cobia, mackerel, and some hard fighting bonita. All in all the action is packed and rods are bent. Red Snapper fishing is always a good time. It’s especially fun when a Cobia decides to bite the line! Cobia are not very common in this area, but we love when they bite. The Offshore Fishing is still holding strong. The New Beginning has been seeing lots of Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Grouper, and even some nice King Mackerel. This is a 12hour offshore fishing trip with a group of guys that will keep you smiling all day long. Right here we have a group of comedians, and they also know how to fish. 10hour offshore bottom fishing trips are a great way to spend time with family and friends.
