Success on the short bottom fishing trips! They both managed enough for dinner, and we got to play around with some other species for pictures and memories. These fish pictured are only the fish we brought back to the dock. The larger fish were safely released and waiting for us when the seasons open. Its been a while since the New Beginning has been Offshore Trolling. After traveling all night we made it to the big fish grounds first thing that morning. We managed a limit of Black Fin Tuna, caught a nice Yellowfin Tuna, and even got 2 Big Wahoo. This style of fishing is very addicting and always makes us want to go back for more. The 6hour bottom fishing is still holding strong. We are seeing lots of Vermillion Snapper for the cooler. They have been schooling up in big numbers just begging for you to try them up! April Fools! This group has an awesome near shore fishing trip. These big Gag Groupers came out of their hole, and gave these 2 a heck or a fight. But the jokes on us, they are out of season. We still managed a nice mess of fix for them to enjoy, and got some great pictures of the released fish. If you are interested in a fishing trip feel free to message me for more information. This family had an absolute blast aboard the New Beginning. All the boys caught their personal biggest fish. The guys caught some really nice Gag Groupers. The entire family slayed the Vermillion Snapper. Overall we saw lots of action and they caught plenty to eat. Vermillion Snapper is what’s on the menu for these folks. All around the fishing has been great this spring! The Vermillion Snapper have been good size. Red Snapper are thick as fleas. Greater Amberjack are schooled up on what seems to be every structure we fish. Juvenile and legal size Red Groupers have taken over most of the Limestone in the region.
