Another great 8-hour trip aboard the New Beginning! The weather cooperated and the fish were ready to bite. Our group stayed busy throughout the day putting together a nice catch of red snapper, plenty of vermilion snapper, and a quality red grouper. The vermilion snapper provided steady action while we worked several productive spots. We also added some solid red snapper to the box along with a nice keeper red grouper to round out the catch. The anglers did a great job and everyone went home with plenty of fresh fish. Summer fishing continues to be excellent, and these longer trips give us more time to move around and target a variety of species.
