Red snapper season is one of the most anticipated times of year here in Panama City Beach, and the 2026 season dates have officially been set. For 2026, red snapper season will be open from June 1 through October 27 in federal waters. This is when we’re able to target and keep red snapper on our deep sea fishing trips, and it’s typically some of the best fishing of the year. These fish are known for their strong fight and are some of the best eating fish in the Gulf.
